A Response from the Cutting Edge Ministries on Freemasonry -----Original Message----- From: Ron Riffe [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, 16 June 2000 7:27 To: [email protected] Subject: Cutting Edge Freemasonry Page Dear Cutting Edge respondent, As much as we would like to answer each and every issue raised by our Freemasonry articles, it has become a practical impossibility. We are currently receiving just under one million "hits" a month on our site and the subsequent email is tremendous. For this reason, we must reluctantly offer the following blanket statement and ask two or three questions: "Proving" something to someone who is not willing to be objective is well nigh impossible, whether it be issues regarding Freemasonry or the Christian faith. And surely you can understand the enormous amount of time and effort it takes to answer just one irate person's demands for a point-by-point response. Therefore we must stand by the statements as presented in the various articles and will try to add to them. Our sole aim is to alert God's genuine saints to the subtle occultic influences in the world around them and not just to antagonize those who disagree with our position of Freemasonry. So with these thoughts in mind, we would like to ask the Christian some questions relative to Freemasonry: (1) Why would any dedicated and knowledgeable Christian take the bloody oaths required by the various degrees? Ask yourself if Freemasonry is merely a benevolent and fraternal organization, then why the secrecy and need for such oaths? What secrets are you trying to protect? (2) Biblical Christianity demands the undivided loyalty and service of the saved individual. If you in fact claim to be among this number, why are you wasting your time, energy, and finances on Freemasonry (or any other fraternal organization) when Jesus Christ should be receiving them? If none of the above speaks to your heart, any arguments or proofs we might offer would likely be in vain anyway. In Christ's precious Name, Ron Riffe, Cutting Edge Ministries.
